Ouagadougou: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Balav held its administrative opening for the 2026-2027 school year on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Representing the head of the Balav Basic Education Commission (CEB), Kapi Keita, head of the Primary Education Bureau (Beprim), commended the teaching staff for their dedication. He also congratulated school principals and teachers on the results achieved during the past academic year, urging them to maintain their efforts to consolidate these gains.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the headmaster of Yasso 'A' school, Siaka Traor, expressed his satisfaction with the teachers' presence and thanked the supervisory team for their back-to-school visit. The same positive sentiment was echoed at Balav 'A' school, where headmistress Salimata Dao believes that the teachers' presence will allow for a smooth start to the academic year and the implementation of the guidelines and roadmap provided by the pedagogical supervisors.

Through this start of the academic year, the CEB of Balav intends to continue the mobilization of its staff for an effective resumption of activities while hoping for a strengthening of the teaching staff and an improvement of the material conditions necessary for the smooth running of the academic year, according to Kapi Kta.
