Zondoma: The provincial director of education calls on stakeholders to maintain their mobilization for a successful start to the school year. The provincial director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DEPPNF) of Poni, Kerwout Jonas Tioy, called on education stakeholders on Friday in Bouroum-Bouroum to maintain their mobilization for a successful 2026-2027 school year, during an exchange meeting organized as part of his administrative back-to-school supervision tour.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the tour covered the schools of Bouroum-Bouroum A, B, and C as well as educational stakeholders in Banlo. The discussions provided an opportunity to review the conditions of the administrative start of the academic year, to identify the specific difficulties of the different districts and to reiterate the priorities defined at the provincial level.

Discussions also focused on the effectiveness of the administrative start of the academic year, the implementation of ongoing reforms, the reliability of statistical data, the management of school fields, and the difficulties encountered by stakeholders on the ground. The provincial director praised the commitment of the teachers and educational supervisors, whom he congratulated for their efforts which contributed to the results recorded in the 2026 school exams.

"I congratulate the teachers and educational supervisors for their efforts which have resulted in a high success rate in the 2026 school exams and improved results," said Comrade Tioy. While acknowledging the efforts already made, the provincial director invited education stakeholders to maintain their commitment and mobilization in order to guarantee a more successful 2026-2027 school year.
