ACDO Conducts Training to Bolster Peace and Social Cohesion in Oudalan

Gorom-Gorom:The Community Association for the Development of Oudalan (ACDO) held a training session on Saturday, focusing on dialogue and peaceful conflict management, aimed at enhancing social cohesion and peace within the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the session gathered various stakeholders, including administrative, religious, and traditional authorities, as well as non-governmental and civil society organizations, to discuss conflict prevention mechanisms and share experiences. Cultural figure Diallo Amadou led the training, emphasizing the importance of recognizing early warning signs of conflict and using dialogue to resolve disputes effectively.

Sibiri Neya, President of the Special Delegation of Gorom-Gorom Commune, representing the High Commissioner of Oudalan Province, expressed support for the ACDO initiative. He highlighted the expectation that participants would translate their training into positive behavioral changes, contributing to peace and social unity in Oudalan.

At the session's conclusion, Mr. Neya praised the training's focus on unity and urged participants to apply their new knowledge to foster acceptance, share challenges, and seek collective solutions for the community's benefit.
