Local Leaders Highlight Progress Under Popular Progressive Revolution

Zons:Boulgou/Zons: Local leaders have acknowledged significant progress in Burkina Faso since the inception of the Popular Progressive Revolution in 2022, urging for sustained efforts moving forward.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of the basic education district of Zons, Tabour Yigo, emphasized advancements in public affairs management under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traor©. He noted improvements in security, agricultural support with tractors and inputs, and initiatives like the Presidential Initiative for Quality Education for All. Additionally, he highlighted enhancements in defense and security forces' equipment, the establishment of mobile clinics, recruitment of doctors, and investments in local raw material processing.

Secretary General of the city hall, Issaka Zongo, praised efforts towards economic sovereignty and development. He mentioned infrastructure projects, such as highway construction and the Faso Mbo project, alongside initiatives for food sovereignty, industrialization, and natural resource development. Zongo stressed the importance of building public trust, boosting security, and accelerating projects in youth employment and access to social services.

Wendinmi Frdric Oudraogo, President of the Special Delegation, also reported progress in sectors such as security, health, education, agriculture, and industry. He detailed advancements in territorial security, improvements in agricultural practices, and the resettlement of displaced populations. Initiatives in community entrepreneurship, tomato processing, and the establishment of a gold refinery and clothing factory were also highlighted.

Despite these achievements, Oudraogo called on the population to continue their mobilization efforts and contribute to community development.
