Banwa: Thirty-seven education actors from the Basic Education District (CEB) of Sanaba are taking part, from September 1 to 14, 2026, in a training session devoted to the transcription and didactics of disciplines in the context of bi-multilingual education.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the official opening ceremony of the session was presided over on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Sanaba "A" school by the Head of the Sanaba CEB, Jean Konat. The training program brings together 18 teachers of first-grade (CP1) classes and 19 school principals from the Sanaba CEB.
For fourteen days, participants will be equipped in particular on transcription in the Dioula language, the didactic approaches of the different disciplines as well as the development of teaching materials. The organizers aim to strengthen the capacities of actors responsible for implementing the harmonized bi-multilingual education formula in order to enable them to ensure better application and good mastery of transcription.
In giving the starting signal for the training, the Head of the CEB of Sanaba, Jean Konat, invited the participants to diligently follow the various lessons provided, in order to be able to effectively reinvest them with the learners. Following the opening ceremony, the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education for Banwa, Pedro Blaise Coulibaly, visited the participants. He came to encourage them and express his support for this capacity-building session.
