Djigou¨ra:The president of the special delegation of Djigou¨ra, Dª Millogo, has urged municipal structures to support locally produced K´k´ Dunda loincloths.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Millogo called on public services, schools, and various entities within the commune to prioritize these loincloths, which are made by the women's cooperative SCOOPS BRAMOUSSO. This initiative is aimed at promoting local consumption.

Support for local production is seen as a key factor in strengthening the communal economy and improving the incomes of women involved in the artisanal sector. By purchasing community-made products, wealth creation is directly enhanced for the benefit of local residents.

The SCOOPS BRAMOUSSO cooperative is known for its production and sale of K´k´ Dunda loincloths, which provide significant income for its members. Millogo encouraged government agencies and schools to order uniforms and other fabric needs from the cooperative.

He also committed to continuing awareness-raising efforts with technical services and local stakeholders to ensure better adoption of the locally produced K´k´ Dunda loincloths in Djigou¨ra.
