Gbondjigui:The head of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Gbondjigui, Bma Ouattara, conducted a tour on October 1, 2026, visiting several schools to ensure a smooth start to the academic year and engage with educational stakeholders.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ouattara, accompanied by his staff, inspected Bondigui public primary schools "A" and "B," where he found that teachers were present and educational activities had commenced effectively. Badjrkoun Dabir, the head of Bondigui "B" public primary school, expressed satisfaction with the visit, noting that all staff were present, roll calls completed, and lessons underway.
This successful start was attributed to the timely provision of specific equipment to the schools since September 25, 2026, which facilitated a seamless beginning of the academic programs. Ouattara also praised the efforts of educators and support staff for their achievements in the previous school year, which have positioned the Gbondjigui CEB among the top-performing districts regionally. He highlighted a regional award received by a district teacher for excellence.
Ouattara extended his best wishes for the new school year, urging all educational stakeholders to maintain their dedication to quality education.
