Noufou Dpama Takes Charge as Provincial Director of Taxes in Sissili

Lo:The new Provincial Director of Taxes for Sissili, Noufou Dpama, was officially installed on Friday, September 25, 2026. The ceremony was led by the Secretary General of the province, Baowindsida Bingo, representing the High Commissioner, Twind Isaac Sia.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Noufou Dpama, appointed by the Council of Ministers on September 10, 2026, succeeds Zakaria Sanogo, who managed the transition while continuing as Tax Collector. Dpama has committed to approaching his role with selflessness, integrity, and rigor, emphasizing cohesion and solidarity. He expressed his intention to be approachable and responsive to both staff and taxpayers, seeking full collaboration to meet revenue targets.

Baowindsida Bingo, speaking for the High Commissioner, acknowledged the efforts of the outgoing director and promised support from the provincial administration. He addressed taxpayers directly, urging them not to fear tax services, highlighting that tax revenue enables state investments for national development.

The Director of Tax Administration for Boulkiemd emphasized the vital role of tax services in funding the national budget, local authorities, and the Patriotic Support Fund for the Defense and Security Forces. He urged Dpama to lead with diligence and uphold ethical standards.

The local community's support was evident as the representative of His Majesty Lo-Pio Dan-Zw, Chief of the Canton of Lo, offered traditional blessings to Dpama. He encouraged the community to support tax administration efforts, underscoring the collective role in Sissili's prosperity.
