High Commissioner Urges Continued Efforts for Successful School Year

Nouna:Koosin The High Commissioner of Koosin province, Noufo Dembl, has called on education stakeholders to persist in their efforts to ensure the success of the new school year. This appeal was made during a flag-raising ceremony at the Nouna school sector 6 B, marking the start of the 2026-2027 academic year.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony featured the raising of the Burkinabe flag accompanied by the singing of the Ditanysung in Dioula by the students. Several important figures from the province attended this event.

Boureima Kini, Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Nouna, expressed gratitude to the authorities for their support of the education sector while also highlighting some difficulties faced at the beginning of the school year.

High Commissioner Noufo Dembl commended the academic achievements of the previous year and urged education stakeholders to maintain their efforts in the new academic session. He also encouraged parents and education partners to increase their involvement to ensure quality education.

Dembl further called on the public to remain mobilized in support of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP) and urged the fighting forces to continue their efforts in securing the territory.
