Ouahigouya:The Northern Regional Special Delegation of Yaadga convened its third session to review budget guidelines and multi-year commitments.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the session, held in Ouahigouya on September 29, was overseen by President Thomas Yampa, with the majority of statutory members present. The discussions focused on budget orientation, an essential phase for preparing and conducting community actions.
President Yampa emphasized the importance of these debates in evaluating resources, financial capabilities, and constraints, which help shape budgetary directions. The session included the adoption of previous session minutes and several resolutions.
Members engaged in extensive discussions on budgetary guidelines to align community development priorities with actual financing capacities, ensuring efficient and transparent public resource use. These debates resulted in significant decisions, including budget adjustments, authorization to acquire equipment for the FDS, and the strategic relocation of a maternity ward to enhance healthcare access.
In concluding the session, President Yampa expressed gratitude to the delegation members, technical services, and stakeholders. He conveyed wishes for the prosperity of producers, household food security, and success for students and teachers in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
