Oumarou Natama Appointed Director at CEEP in Fada N’Gourma

Fada N'Gourma:Oumarou Natama has been appointed as the new director of the public Early Childhood Education and Awakening Center (CEEP) in sector 11 of Fada N'Gourma. During his installation ceremony on Saturday, October 3, 2026, he emphasized his commitment to enhancing educational supervision and fostering collaboration within the educational community through cohesion and teamwork.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was chaired by Labidi Dahani, the inspector of basic education and non-formal education, representing the Head of Basic Education District (CCEB) of Fada N'Gourma 1. The event saw the attendance of educational staff, school council representatives, parents, and other stakeholders in the community.

Natama succeeds Christine Zongo/Kabore, who served as director for over five years. Staff representative Samiratou Berewidougou commended Zongo/Kabore's dedication and support during her tenure and expressed a warm welcome to Natama. She assured that both tenured and trainee educators are prepared to work collaboratively with the new director.

Labidi Dahani acknowledged the accomplishments under Zongo/Kabore's leadership, highlighting the strong performance of the CEB of sector 11 and the successful end-of-year activities. He encouraged Natama to build on these achievements and collaborate with staff, the school council, and the educational hierarchy to tackle forthcoming challenges.

Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him, Natama paid tribute to his predecessor's achievements. He vowed to prioritize cohesion, active listening, and teamwork to improve educational supervision and strengthen partnerships with educators and parents, aiming to provide a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment for the children.
