Sanaba:The president of the special delegation of Sanaba, Moussa Traor, urged teachers to embrace patriotism and the promotion of local production as a civic duty during a flag-raising ceremony at the Sanaba 'A' public primary school.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was part of the third edition of the Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation. It was attended by the local population and included the national anthem played in Dioula. Moussa Traor conveyed a message from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, to those attending the annual pedagogical conference for primary school teachers.
Under the theme "Let's produce Burkinabè, let's consume Burkinabè," and the slogan "All for Made in Burkina, let's make every purchase an act of sovereignty," the JEPPC event is running from October 2nd to 16th, 2026, across the country. Traor encouraged teachers and residents to disseminate the presidential message throughout the villages in the Sanaba commune.
He stressed the importance of teachers in instilling patriotism, promoting local production and consumption, and following the guidelines in the President's message. Traor highlighted the crucial role educators play in transmitting these values to students and raising community awareness about "Made in Burkina."
