Liptougou:Bogandé The annual pedagogical conference for teachers in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Liptougou commenced on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, under the leadership of Aboubacar Sory, the prefect and president of the special delegation of the Liptougou commune.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the four-day event is designed to enhance teachers' professional skills through communication, experience exchange, and discussions aimed at improving teaching methods and student outcomes.
The conference's central theme is "Developing and utilizing integration situations," with participants also addressing the integration of local socio-cultural aspects into history, geography, and civic and moral education curricula.
Kiri Lankoandé, head of the CEB of Liptougou, expressed appreciation for the support from administrative authorities and educational stakeholders, describing the conference as an essential platform for training and professional development.
Representing the Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education for Gnagna, YDNaomie Dianou/Lankoandé praised the teachers' participation and highlighted the significance of continuous professional development in enhancing educational quality.
