Fada N'Gourma:The Kupiendieli Regional Vocational High School has introduced a vocational studies diploma (BEP) program in agri-food for the 2026-2027 school year, marking a first for the commune and the region. This new program aims to enhance training in the production and processing of agricultural products.

According to Burkina Information Agency, thirty-two candidates have been selected to participate in this program, which will focus on the processing of tomatoes, onions, millet, and corn. The program was officially announced in September 2026.

The high school, established in 2021 by the Regional Council, previously offered tracks primarily in G1 and G2 fields to address training needs in agri-food, agroforestry, tourism, and hospitality. The agri-food track's opening followed official procedures with the supervisory authorities.

Abdoulaye Zall has commended the school's performance over the past three years. In 2024, the school achieved pass rates of 85.96% in Terminale G1 and 89.5% in Terminale G2, with G1 students winning first prize nationally, and G2 students taking third place. In 2025, the pass rates were 76.74% in Terminale G1 and 77.1% in Terminale G2, again securing third place nationally. In 2026, the pass rates were 83.33% in Terminale G1 and 66.16% in Terminale G2, earning the fourth national prize in G1.

To ensure the program's success, the headmaster seeks support from local residents and partners, highlighting the need for specialist teachers, laboratory equipment, and a site of at least 10 hectares for practical activities.

Looking ahead, the high school plans to introduce courses in agroforestry, tourism, and hospitality to better align with the region's economic needs.
