Gourcy:Zondoma Dr. Saïdou Barry, a philosopher of educational sciences and head of a school in Gourcy, met with Karim Sawadogo, the provincial director of education for Zondoma. The meeting focused on the "Each Learner, a Manifesto" project, which seeks to promote the vision of the Popular Progressive Revolution (PPR) in schools.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Dr. Barry aims to enable students to engage with the RPP manifesto through the project. He believes it is essential for Burkinabe youth, especially students, to understand and support the government's vision to participate fully in the country's journey towards sovereignty.
Karim Sawadogo welcomed the initiative, praising the project and encouraging its implementation. To stimulate student interest, he proposed organizing educational games and competitions based on the manifesto.
The officials agreed to develop a comprehensive distribution strategy targeting primary, post-primary, and secondary school students in Zondoma province, with plans to expand to other regions of Burkina Faso. Dr. Barry's ultimate goal is for every student to have their own copy of the manifesto.
As a symbolic gesture, Dr. Barry handed over a dozen copies of the manifesto to the Provincial Director.
