Kenedougou:The President of the Special Delegation of the Sindo municipality, Salfo Dayamba, presided over a flag-raising ceremony at the Sindo Departmental High School, marking the second phase of the third edition of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation. During the event, he called on the population to support the local economy by promoting local consumption.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Salfo Dayamba conveyed a message from the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, highlighting the crucial role of producing, processing, and consuming Burkinabe products. The President emphasized that such actions support local producers, encourage processors, and contribute to wealth creation in the country.

The PDS underscored the significant role of women in this initiative, particularly through preparing and promoting traditional dishes. He urged them to incorporate more local products into family meals and to pass on culinary traditions to the younger generations.

He also encouraged retailers, restaurateurs, and other economic stakeholders to prioritize national products in their businesses, enhancing both cultural identity and support for local producers.
