Kaya:More than 150 police officers from the Koulsé region actively participated in paving work at the Faso Mêbo site in Kaya, demonstrating their commitment to civic duties. This initiative was part of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the effort, led by Chief Superintendent of Police Larba Salambanga, involved various units of the National Police, including the Anti-Crime Brigade, the Republican Security Company, and other regional services. This mobilization aimed to show how patriotic commitment can be translated into tangible community benefits.
The police officers engaged in making paving stones to enhance the aesthetics and living conditions in Kaya. Chief Superintendent Salambanga urged other community structures to join in this effort to beautify the city.
This paving project is part of the National Police's broader program of civic activities. Earlier, police teams conducted awareness sessions with primary school students on drug dangers and road safety. Future plans include continuing awareness campaigns, particularly focusing on best practices for social network usage among citizen watch members.
