Zoaga:Boulgou More than one hundred women from the commune of Zoaga, in the province of Boulgou, have benefited from free screening and prevention consultations for gynecological cancers, thanks to the deployment of a mobile clinic.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative aims to bring health services closer to the population, particularly women living in rural areas. The mobile clinic has facilitated tailored consultations focused on early detection of cancers.
The services provided primarily focused on mammography and cervical cancer screening, which are essential examinations for the prevention of female cancers. The strong mobilization of women for these services underscores the enthusiasm generated by this local campaign and their support for the prevention approach.
Major Idrissu Boulou, along with the beneficiaries, praised the initiative for facilitating access to care and enhancing awareness of the importance of early detection. Through these mobile clinics, health authorities intend to sustainably strengthen prevention and equitable access to care in the commune of Zoaga, located about ten kilometers from the Ghanaian border.
