Réo:During the monthly national flag-raising ceremony held at the town hall of Réo on Monday, November 2, the High Commissioner of the Sanguié province, Talari Germaine Ouoba, urged the public to strengthen their civic commitment and develop initiatives to support the administration's efforts.
According to Agence d'Information du Burkina, Talari Germaine Ouoba, in her address to the active forces of the province, commended the efforts of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) for protecting people and property. She expressed her gratitude to the citizens involved in the Faso-Mêbo projects in the Réo commune.
Ouoba appreciated the participation of residents from various villages and neighborhoods, many of whom have already contributed to the initiative. She encouraged those who have not yet engaged to join the movement, stating, "Together we will develop, clean, and beautify our city."
The High Commissioner also congratulated provincial directors, service heads, and their staff for their work, encouraging them to maintain their commitment, particularly in welcoming users, listening to their concerns, and ensuring the quality of public service. The contribution of technical and financial partners, as well as associations, to the province's development was acknowledged, with an appeal to continue the current trajectory for more dynamic development efforts.
Addressing citizen participation, Ouoba encouraged actors not to always wait for directives from administrative leaders before taking action. She urged them to take initiatives and contribute at their level to the functioning and development of the province.
She called on the population to value traditions, local products, and dishes, emphasizing that promoting cultural and local heritage should be a collective concern. As the year draws to a close, Ouoba also called for caution, particularly on the roads, highlighting the importance of wearing helmets, respecting traffic signals, and following security forces' instructions.
