Dissihn:The Fodé bridge in the city center of Dissihn, Ioba province, is now officially open to traffic after a dedication ceremony led by Benjamin Nana, President of the Special Delegation of the commune of Dissihn, on October 17, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by local authorities and a large crowd, showcasing support for the Popular Progressive Revolution through the Faso Mêbo agency. The bridge, measuring six meters in length and three meters in width, was constructed through community mobilization and funded entirely by local contributions without the need for credit.

Benjamin Nana emphasized the importance of continued community involvement in local development projects, urging residents to keep supporting initiatives like the bridge construction. Contributions are still being accepted to further rehabilitate and build essential infrastructure in Dissihn, he noted, stressing the need for local engagement in development efforts.
