A government delegation went to Tenkodogo yesterday, Wednesday, to meet with the region's vital forces, to salute their contribution to the fight against terrorism and to invite the population to close ranks against the enemies of the nation. The delegation comprising the Minister of Security, Mamadou Sana, the Minister of Infrastructure, Adam Luc Sorgho and the Minister of Digital Transformation and Electronic Communications, Aminata Zerbo/Sabane and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Crafts, Serge Gnaniodem Poda, met with the heads of administrative districts, the defense and security forces, the VDP, members of the citizen monitoring coordination, customary people and religious leaders of the Center-East region. To all these social classes, the delegation expressed the recognition of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, for their commitment to the defense of the territory and call for national unity. The Minister of Security Mamadou Sana specifies "We were mandated and instructed by the Pres ident to come and discuss with the population of the Center-East.We came to explain the vision of the Head of State and to take stock of the current governance. This is an opportunity to explain the difficulties we encounter in carrying out our mission.""We also provided elements of responses to the concerns raised by the driving forces and we will analyze the concerns that have not found satisfactory answers," he added. The Minister of Infrastructure, Adama Luc Sorgho, praised the invaluable work of all these social classes for the restoration of the integrity of the territory. To the grievances related to road issues, Minister Sorgho suggested that the road is expensive. However, the reforms undertaken will make it possible to find solutions. This involves the decentralization of markets in the region and the acquisition of equipment for the management brigades. This approach is welcomed at its fair value by the active forces who suggest perpetuating such a framework for meeting with members of the go vernment. At the end of the various meetings, the government delegation handed over to vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons, 05 tons of food and more than ten boxes of soap.Source: Burkina Information Agency
