Passoré/ Provincial consultation framework: Stakeholders invited to become more involved in the development of the province

The High Commissioner of the Passoré province, Daouda Sangaré chaired Tuesday in Yako, the work of the first ordinary session of the year 2024 of the provincial consultation framework (CCP) of Passoré. For the occasion, the actors were invited to become more involved in the development of the provinceThe statutory members of the Passoré Provincial Consultation Framework (CCP) met on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, in the multipurpose room of the Yako youth center to take stock of their achievements and propose development solutions for the Passoré province.Coming from the 9 municipalities of the province, the stakeholders concerned received three communications followed by discussions on said communications.Firstly, it was a communication made by the Association of Young People for Family Well-being (AJBF).It was presented by the AJBF project manager, Djénéba Zougouri / Bayala and focused on the 'School with complete peace of mind' project piloted by the association in the commune of Yako.In her communic ation , Ms. Zougouri focused on the Yam-Wékré picture book and its missions.She also gave a presentation on the reading club approach, through the 'Biblio-moto' and its benefits for toddlers.In her communication, the project manager stated that Yam-Wékré, which means "hatching of intelligence" in the local Mooré language, is an educational tool based on images used in early learning and preschool education centers.In his opinion, this tool is also used in the sub-cycles of the preparatory course of primary schools which include 312 picture cards covering 29 educational themes and thematic sheets for children.The communicator made it clear that the Yam-Wékré picture book aims, among other things, to develop skills in young children relating to solidarity, sharing, cooperation, exchanges, self-confidence, tolerance and respect for rules.The second communication is that delivered by the Association Monde rural (AMR) based in Gourcy in Zondoma.In his communication, the AMR program manager, David Oronk uy, discussed the association's missions, objectives and area of ??intervention.Oronkuy also made a communication on the status of implementation of the projects led by the AMR in the North and especially in Passoré, namely the agricultural resilience and competitiveness project, that of resilience and stabilization in the Sahel, the promotion of sustainable food systems and the project to promote the citizen participation of women and young people for transparent and inclusive governance in the Northern region.The project to promote inclusive governance and citizen participation and that of strengthening the capacities of grassroots communities through literacy in Passoré were on the agenda of the discussions.The last communication concerned the Workers' Health Office (OST) which is submitting for the first time the valid information of its representation in Passoré.According to the explanations of the first person in charge at Passoré, Lissoaba Toula/Onadja, the OST was created on July 31, 1987. Its main mission is to prevent the deterioration of workers' health due to their work or the conditions in which they carry out their jobs.Ms. Toula described the administrative situation of the OST, its missions, its structure, the main prevention activities and the advantages linked to its affiliation.The High Commissioner of Passoré, Daouda Sangaré thanked the actors and financial partners of the CCP for their support in carrying out the session.Sangaré also said he was satisfied with the way the discussions went and invited all stakeholders involved in the development of the province to act for the well-being of the populations in their respective sectors of activity.Source: Burkina Information Agency
