A motorcyclist died on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in Mogandé, after hitting a broken down tricycle, AIB learned.

A traffic accident claimed one victim in Mogandé, a village located 10 km away on the RN16, Bittou-Cinkansé axis.

The accident occurred on the night of Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at around 8 p.m.

The cause of the accident is believed to be a damaged tricycle parked in the middle of the road, apparently without a road sign.

The tricycle was returning from Cinkansé, loaded with a large quantity of goods.

The man, who was riding a scooter, hit the back of the tricycle and died instantly.

The territorial gendarmerie of the Bittou brigade carried out the report. The victim was buried in the main cemetery of Bittou, located in sector 4. The driver of the tricycle remains untraceable for the moment.
