End of Training in China for Burkinabe Media Managers on Press and Culture in Digital Age.

China: Media officials from Burkina Faso completed a three-week training on press and culture in the digital age on Thursday in Changsha, China's Hunan Province. The training program was aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of Burkinabe media managers in the modern digital landscape.According to Burkina Information Agency, the Burkinabe seminarians conveyed their satisfaction at the conclusion of the program, which featured a series of lectures, field visits, and tourist outings across three cities in Hunan province from October 11 to 31, 2024. The delegation, representing the Burkinabe government, expressed gratitude to China and the Hunan Foreign Trade Professional Institute, the seminar's organizer.Bakary Koné, head of the Burkinabe delegation, emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening the cooperation between the media sectors of Hunan province and Burkina Faso. "I hope that this cooperation can be maintained and consolidated with a view to a win-win partnership between the medi a of Hunan province and those of Burkina Faso," he stated. Koné, who also serves as a mission officer at the Ministry of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, further reflected on the enriching experience, saying, "We learned, we saw and we were amazed."Ye Lie, Director of Hunan Tourism Department, expressed optimism for continued collaboration beyond the training, aspiring to establish new relations of cooperation and friendship between Burkina Faso and China. "You are always welcome in Hunan," Mr. Ye Lie assured the participants.The closing ceremony, led by Mr. Ye, took place at Meyes Hotel in Changsha, with notable attendees including Tang Zhiyuan, Director of the Faculty of Foreign Aid Training, and Ms. Xu Qianya, Training Project Manager.
