Burkina: The National Fire Brigade awarded the Firefighters' Medal of Honor with a gold star to 12-year-old Tasseré Ouédraogo on Friday for his role in rescuing a six-year-old girl from a well. The remarkable rescue operation involved extracting the young girl from a 30-meter deep well with a diameter of just 60 centimeters.According to Burkina Information Agency, the narrowness of the well presented significant challenges for the firefighters, prompting them to seek assistance from Ouédraogo.
