Zondoma: The provincial coordination of citizen watch organizations in Zondoma organized a collective breaking of the fast on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Gourcy. Women, young people, the elderly, Christians, Muslims, administrative, military, paramilitary authorities, and civil society organizations gathered in front of the headquarters of the Gourcy municipal twinning committee for this event.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial coordinator of citizen monitoring, Oumarou Ou©draogo, remarked that this mobilization demonstrates that all communities in Gourcy speak with a unified voice and remain supportive of the authorities and forces working towards the country's liberation, particularly through prayers during the month of Ramadan.

Christian and Muslim religious leaders spoke at the event, followed by the High Commissioner of the province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nab©. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers for promoting ideals of unity. He highlighted the significance of Lent and Ramadan coinciding, urging the community to continue their efforts and maintain prayers for peace and the country's liberation.

After sharing a community meal, participants observed the Magrib prayer, concluding the event with a sense of unity and purpose.
