K©n©dougou: The New Metropolitan Archbishop Invites Catholic Faithful of Orodara to Conversion

K©n©dougou: The new Metropolitan Archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso, Mgr Laurent Bifuor© Dabir©, invited the Catholic Christian faithful of Orodara to conversion during his visit to establish contact with the Christian community under his diocese in Orodara from March 22 to 23, 2025. After Koundougou and N'Dorola, the city of Orodara had the honor of receiving the new metropolitan archbishop on Saturday, March 22, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Bishop Laurent Bifuor© Dabir© stated that his presence in the city of Verger was part of a discovery visit to his diocesan territory. He emphasized that he came not only to meet his faithful but also the people of K©n©dougou. During his visit, the Metropolitan Archbishop celebrated Mass on the third Sunday of Lent, urging the Catholic Christian community to embrace conversion.

Bishop Dabir© took the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to the High Commissioner of the province of K©n©dougou, Sadou Sakira, and the village chief of Orodara, Massa Traor©. He emphasized the importance of believing in God and acting according to the Lord's teachings to foster growth and progress.

The visit was warmly received by the Christian community of Orodara. Father Evariste Sawadogo, the parish priest of Notre Dame de Orodara, noted that the visit was a sign of consideration and the pastor's closeness to his community members and the wider population of K©n©dougou.

Bishop Dabir© expressed his delight at the warm welcome he received in Orodara and the strong mobilization of stakeholders around his arrival, highlighting the unity and support present in the community.
