High Commissioner Urges Participation in Patriotic and Civic Activities

Sourou: The High Commissioner of the Sourou province, D©sir© Badolo, on Wednesday invited the entire population of his territorial jurisdiction to actively participate in the activities of the second edition of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner officially launched the second edition under the theme: "For order and discipline: I commit myself."

The launch was marked by a solemn raising of the colors at the Tougan high commission, attended by the defense and security forces and the active forces of the province. High Commissioner Badolo emphasized the importance of active participation and encouraged residents to pay their taxes as a gesture of good citizenship.

"I would like to invite you to take part, in the coming weeks, in the various activities within the framework of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation," stated Badolo. He further urged residents to demonstrate civic-mindedness by participating in the Provincial Fiscal Civic Day.

The two-week event will include a range of activities such as a conference on the theme of JEPPC, discussions on civics and citizen participation, awareness campaigns on helmet usage, and a sanitation day. These activities aim to foster a sense of civic duty and community engagement among the residents of Sourou province.
