Boureima Ouattara Takes Charge as Principal Treasurer of Kourweogo Province

Kourweogo: Treasury Inspector Boureima Ouattara pledged to achieve the objectives assigned to him during his installation at the head of the Main Treasury of the province of Kourweogo. The ceremony, held in Bouss©, saw the participation of inspectors, administrative authorities, and local bodies.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ouattara was appointed by the Council of Ministers on March 12, 2025, and was installed in his new role by the High Commissioner of the province, Mahamadi Congo. Expressing his gratitude to the Ministry of Economy and Finance for their trust, Ouattara acknowledged the significant tasks and challenges ahead.

He stressed the importance of collaboration among decentralized government services to ensure optimal mobilization of financial resources and rigorous public funds management. Ouattara called on his colleagues to maintain their dedication, emphasizing the Public Treasury's motto: "The permanent quest for excellence."

Outgoing Chief Treasurer Sadou Nabaloum thanked the province's technical and administrative partners for their support and wished Ouattara success in his new role. High Commissioner Mahamadi Congo praised Nabaloum's professionalism and reiterated his support for Ouattara, pledging to assist him in his endeavors.

The ceremony signifies a new chapter in Kourweogo's public finance management, with Ouattara focused on continuing efforts to modernize and enhance transparency within the provincial financial administration.
