Tenkodogo: The regional consular delegation of the chamber of commerce, in partnership with the regional directorate of commerce of the Center-East, conducted a workshop on Thursday at the merchant's house of Tenkodogo. The event aimed to enhance the capacity of economic actors in managing risks within their companies.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative seeks to provide economic actors with foundational knowledge, enabling them to effectively carry out awareness-raising activities to benefit their peers. Larba Odette Ilboudo, the representative of the regional consular delegation, emphasized the importance of this activity for local businesses.
Facilitator Alidou Ou©draogo stated that the training is a part of the regional consular delegation's activity program in collaboration with the regional trade directorate of the Center-East. The workshop is structured around four key points, as indicated by the regional director of trade for the center-east, Alidou Ou©draogo.
"These days, everything we do involves risks. Some are obvious and others are not, but in all cases, they can negatively impact your business," Ou©draogo explained. This workshop is designed to equip business owners with the skills necessary to manage and anticipate risks, or, if necessary, adopt mitigation measures.
Participants will gain an understanding of risks and their impacts, analyze the consequences, and propose solutions to reduce these impacts, as outlined by Ou©draogo. The president of the Union of Traders and Related Workers of Tenkodogo encouraged association members to apply the knowledge gained from the training.
