National Cultural Heritage Month Launched in Nayala

Nayala: The Nayala province launched the National Cultural Heritage Month on Friday, April 18, 2025, an event inviting all Burkinab¨ to participate in promoting their culture. The High Commissioner of Nayala Province, Honor© Fr©d©ric Par©, expressed his gratitude to the authorities present, including Ms. Kient©ga/Ou©draogo Adjara Sandrine, Secretary General of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, who conveyed the message of the President of Faso, His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Traor©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner also thanked the delegation accompanying him as well as regional officials, including those responsible for culture, water, and forests. Ms. Kient©ga/Ou©draogo Adjara Sandrine, Secretary General of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, emphasized the importance of raising awareness among the population about the richness of Burkinabe heritage.

A variety of activities are planned to engage citizens, particularly young people and families, to strengthen their commitment to local culture. Following the ceremony, officials visited several iconic sites, including the sacred square of Loghoin, the Joseph Ki-Zerbo roundabout and the tomb of Burkina's first Christian, as well as the Gu© Par© Issa roundabout.

This visit served as an opportunity to recall the importance of these sites in collective memory and national identity.
