Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin noted an increase in trade between Russia and Burkina Faso and stressed that this trend should be maintained. "Trade volumes are growing. This is a positive trend, which must certainly be maintained. We must work together to further strengthen economic ties and diversify mutual trade," Putin said during talks with Burkina Faso President Captain Ibrahim Traor©.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Russian leader emphasized that the increase in trade turnover was facilitated by the Burkina Faso Economic Days in Russia in October 2024, "which were attended by a high-ranking Burkinabe delegation led by the Prime Minister." He also highlighted the significant progress made over the past two years in developing mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
