Active Forces in Loroum Educated on National Symbols and Patriotism

Titao:Loroum Active forces in the province of Loroum were sensitized about the symbols of the Burkinabè nation, their use, and the civic and patriotic values they represent. This initiative, organized by the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinabè Orders, took place on Monday, October 12, 2026, in Titao.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference was held under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the province of Loroum, David Ayoro, who represented the High Commissioner. It gathered representatives from decentralized state services, religious and traditional leaders, and presidents of special delegations from the four municipalities of the province.

The event was led by a delegation from the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinabè Orders, focusing on the national emblem, anthem, coat of arms, and motto. Dofini Watiana Tamini, Head of Studies and Planning at the Grand Chancellery, explained the rules for using these symbols, behaviors considered offensive, and the penalties for such offenses.

The discussion on the national anthem included its historical evolution and the proper conduct during its performance. The importance of respecting the anthem's words was stressed, with any modification seen as an affront.

Participants learned about changes in the coat of arms and motto of Burkina Faso, including the 2024 return to the motto "Homeland or Death, we will prevail." The conference highlighted values of patriotism, respect, and national sacrifice.

Comrade Tamini emphasized the responsibility of every Burkinabè to contribute to the nation's stability and development. He urged participants to become awareness relays, promoting the knowledge gained among the population as ambassadors of the Grand Chancellery. National symbols were highlighted as a shared heritage that requires widespread respect and understanding.
