Koup©la: The Association for the Development of Children and Youth in Africa (ADEJA) announced that the results of its activities for the first half of 2025 were deemed satisfactory. This announcement was made during the ordinary general meeting held on August 2, 2025, in Koup©la, chaired by Fernand N'Do, the secretary general of Kourittenga province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting aimed to review the moral and financial activities of ADEJA for the first half of the year, plan upcoming activities, and explore the potential merger with the Youth Promotion Association (AJP). The Secretary General of ADEJA, Mariam Kafando/Zongo, emphasized the importance of the meeting as a platform for strategic planning and effective implementation of future activities.
Mariam Kafando/Zongo noted the association's satisfaction with the progress made, despite relying on limited internal funds. She highlighted successful activities conducted across villages with internally displaced persons and women, such as soap making and cleaning public spaces.
Salamata Badini, a member of ADEJA, expressed the association's commitment to the successful execution of activities for the latter half of the year. She emphasized the need for mobilizing financial resources and encouraged active participation from all members due to the lack of external resources.
ADEJA President Maurice Kabor© discussed the potential merger with AJP, stating that the primary objective is to enhance contributions towards the development and empowerment of women and vulnerable groups. ADEJA focuses on promoting child welfare, health, sanitation, and development.
