The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE received, in audience this Friday morning, a delegation of the organizers of the first edition of the summer university for young people from member countries of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).Led by the ministers responsible for Youth and Sports of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, the delegation took stock of the work with Captain Ibrahim TRAORE and received his guidance.According to the Minister of Youth and Sports in charge of Civic Education and Citizenship Construction of Mali, Abdoul Kassim Ibrahim FOMBA, spokesperson for the delegation, this first edition of the AES youth summer university, organized by the volunteer structures of the three countries, was an opportunity to sound the mobilization and generate more commitment among young people in the AES area around the issue of volunteering.During the audience, the Head of State provided advice and gave directions to the organizers. "The President of Faso first r ecalled the importance of youth in the context of the mission assigned to each of our departments, especially in the major challenges of our countries," said the spokesperson.On this occasion, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE also called for voluntary engagement of young people from the three AES member states. "We need a youth that is present, a youth that is committed and that brings changes, solutions. In this context, the role of volunteering is important," stressed the Malian Minister in charge of Youth and Sports.According to Minister FOMBA, President Ibrahim TRAORE invited the young people of AES to have a spirit of discernment and to depart from the manipulative messages propagated on social networks by actors who want to destabilize our States.During the summer university, the three countries decided to capitalize on the achievements and experiences in the field of youth and volunteering.
