Koudougou: A new page opened this Wednesday in the governance of the commune of Koudougou, with the installation of Amedee Pare, in his functions as Prefect, President of the special delegation. This handover ceremony, led by the Secretary General of the province, Michel Sawadogo, formalized the transfer of power and administrative responsibilities between the outgoing Prefect, President of the special delegation, Jonas Mane, and his successor, Amedee Pare.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Jonas Mane spent 34 months at the helm of the commune of Koudougou, contributing to local development. Representatives from various sectors, including staff, women's coordination, the special delegation, and community voices, expressed gratitude to Mane for his service. The outgoing Prefect thanked national authorities for their trust and praised local collaboration. He acknowledged challenges faced during his tenure and emphasized his commitment to the values of loyalty, integrity, and selfless service.
The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of the minutes, the handing over of official documents, and the symbolic wearing of the sash, marking the official entry of Amedee Pare as the new Prefect, President of the special municipal delegation of Koudougou. Amedee Pare, an experienced civil administrator, previously served as the town hall's secretary general in Ouahigouya. He expressed his readiness to lead the commune with the support of all 130 employees and reaffirmed his belief in a committed and efficient administration, despite the challenging national context.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts and souvenir photos, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.
