APEC Engages BADF Staff to Boost Local Communication Strategy

Ouagadougou: The Agency for the Promotion of Popular Entrepreneurship (APEC) engaged in a crucial meeting with the staff from the Agricultural Bank of Faso (BADF) on Tuesday as part of its ongoing local communication strategy. This initiative is directed towards broadening APEC's subscriber base throughout Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Director General of APEC, Karim Traore, emphasized the importance of this engagement with banking sector agents. He noted that the banking sector plays a pivotal role in mobilizing financial resources due to its significant workforce. Traore highlighted the necessity of educating every employee about popular entrepreneurship to encourage their active participation in economic activities.

Traore further explained the need to reassure participants about the allocation and utilization of mobilized resources. He elaborated on the economic models and the anticipated benefits, emphasizing job creation and dividend generation both in the short and long term.

The Director General of the Agricultural Bank of Faso, Mahamadi Sougrinoma Zorome, praised this initiative and reiterated his institution's commitment to APEC. He encouraged his colleagues to support this national effort, underscoring the visible impact of APEC's initiatives. Zorome noted that investing in APEC contributes to building a robust customer base, consisting of companies and employees, which offers promising opportunities for the banking sector.
