Soum: The municipality of Arbinda distributed a significant batch of food to its residents, amounting to 24.2 tons of rice and sorghum, using its own funds. The handover occurred on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, aiming to provide support during challenging times.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the food allocation, sourced from the 2026 operating budget, was officially handed over in a ceremony at the Arbinda town hall. The event was chaired by Lazard KIEME, the Comrade President of the Special Delegation, in the presence of various community representatives.

The distribution included 10 tons for Arbinda-Centre, 6 tons for Kaya, 4.45 tons for Ouagadougou, and 3.75 tons for Dori. Lazard KIEME emphasized the municipality's commitment to supporting its people despite limited resources. He noted that this effort complements the work of partners involved in ensuring food security, demonstrating the municipality's dedication to social responsibility.
