Manama:Bahraini newspapers today highlighted several key events involving the nation's leadership and government activities over the past 24 hours.According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King issued three significant decrees, namely Order (30) of 2026, Decree (49) of 2026, and Decree (50) of 2026. Additionally, HM King received thanks from the South Korean President.HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister visited Sitra and Hidd to assess the progress of local development projects, including the Muharraq City Development Plan and the redevelopment of the historic Manama Souq area. He also issued Edict (48) of 2026 and was thanked by the President of the Republic of Korea.In the realm of international relations and security, Bahrain condemned recent Houthi terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia and a commercial vessel off the coast of Oman. The Foreign Minister was active on the international stage, addressing the Security Council on the Ukraine war, chairing a GCC-ASEAN meeting, and engaging in discussions on ma ritime and climate security.On the sports front, Bahrain's athletic team won two gold medals at the Asian Games, but the national football team experienced a defeat against Qatar in the Gulf Cup. Meanwhile, Formula Trophy Malaysia is set to feature as a support race at the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in 2026.
