Bale: The Crossroads of Traditions and Cultures festival has donated half a ton of cement to Faso Mebo. The organizing committee of the festival made this donation in Boromo, received by the province’s high commissioner, Martin Bako, as part of preparations for the festival’s first edition at the end of November.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the festival’s promoter, Andre Bamales, stated that the donation was a response to a growing spirit of solidarity and a commitment to national reconstruction. The committee also plans to allocate another half ton of cement to support the construction of the fence for the urban CSPS 1 of Boromo, a project led by the local community.
This act of giving highlights the committee’s dedication to supporting development initiatives and aiding the country’s rebuilding efforts. The festival thereby emphasizes its core values of solidarity and social cohesion.
The High Commissioner expressed gratitude to the donors and encouraged other promoters to engage in similar acts of support. The inaugural Crossroads of Traditions and Cultures festival is set to take place from November 28 to 30 in front of the Sunni Mosque of Boromo.
