A traffic accident left three dead and five injured on Thursday between the village of Petit Balé and Boromo, AIB learned.

Two personal vehicles collided between the village of Petit Balé and the town of Boromo on Thursday April 4, 2024.

According to a hospital source, the toll is three dead and five seriously injured. Among the victims, there was a woman. She had a child by her side who is safe and sound.

According to a security source, the condition of the vehicles shows the violence of the impact, but the real reasons for the accident remain to be determined.

The bodies of the deceased victims were deposited at the Boromo Medical Center morgue while awaiting their relatives.

Accidents on the national highway near Boromo have been very recurrent since the start of the year. To this end, local authorities have considered palliative solutions involving customary and religious authorities.
