The Provincial Directorate of Primary and Non-Formal Preschool Education (DPEPPNF) of Bam organized its final of the Inter-District Basic Education Tournament (CEB) on July 22, 2023 in Kongoussi . The ceremony was chaired by the high commissioner of Bam represented by the prefect of the department of Kongoussi Abel Dayamba in the presence of the provincial director of primary and non-formal preschool education P. Canut Blaise Syan.

The grand final in football opposed the school of Koundoula of the CEB of Guibaré to that of Yaoghin of the CEB of Rouko. At the end of the 2 times 30 minutes of play, the two teams remained tied with 0 goals everywhere. It was finally on penalties that Guibaré won the victory in the third round of penalties by 4 goals to 3.

The provincial director of primary and non-formal preschool education of Bam P. Canut Blaise Syan first congratulated all the teams involved in the competition despite the insecurity prevailing in the province.

He then indicated that the organization of this competition takes place in a context of insecurity, makes it possible to complete the training of children and to cultivate in them the love of sociability and tolerance, all of which contributes to consolidating the living together is a guarantee of lasting peace.

In conclusion, he thanked the Community of Communes of Bam (CC-Bam) which financially supported the provincial leadership in the organization of this tournament.

The representative of the High Commissioner of the province Abel Dayamba, also congratulated the finalist teams for their exploits, while inviting the teachers to continue in the same dynamic to ensure good sports training for children. He also encouraged the DPEPPNF of Bam P. Canut Blaise Syan and all of his collaborators for having been able to organize this activity.

As for the director of the CC-Bam Jean Eudes Sam, he reassured the DPEPPNF du Bam that its structure will always remain committed to good works which aim to ensure better education for students.

As a reminder, the CEBs of Kongoussi 1, Kongoussi 2, Guibaré and Rouko took part in the tournament for this school year 2022-2023. The other CEBs could not organize the sports activities due to the security situation.

1st: School of Guibaré (CEB of Guibaré): a trophy + 1 set of jerseys + 2 balls + 50,000 FCFA + 23,500 FCFA of special prizes.

2nd: School of Yaoghin (CEB of Rouko): 1 set of jerseys + 2 balls + 40,000 F + 23,500 Fcfa of special prices.

2nd: School of Yaoghin (CEB of Rouko): 1 set of jerseys + 2 balls + 40,000 F + 22,500 Fcfa of special prices.

3rd: School of sector 1 (CEB of Kongoussi 1): 1 set of jerseys + 1 ball + 30,000 FCFA

4th: School of sector 5 (CEB of Kongoussi 2): 1 set of jerseys + 1 ball + 25,000 FCFA
