Banwa: The High Commissioner of the Banwa province, Sanfi©nal© Joseph Sirima, initiated the commencement of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination and the entrance to sixth grade this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Solenzo D. public primary school.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw Mr. Sirima accompanied by a delegation including the central commissioner of the national police, the provincial director of education, and the director of water and forests, along with various heads of basic education districts. The High Commissioner performed the ceremonial opening of the first examination envelope in front of the candidates.
In the 2026 session, Banwa province has registered 1678 candidates, comprising 789 girls and 889 boys. These candidates are distributed across 6 juries and 17 centers.
High Commissioner Sirima expressed his best wishes to the candidates after opening the envelope, encouraging them to remain calm and focused throughout the examination process. The delegation proceeded to visit various examination centers in the city of Solenzo to support the supervisors and other personnel involved in ensuring the success of this examination period.
