Banwa: Conscripts for mandatory patriotic immersion participated on Monday, September 14, 2026, in an operation to destroy larval breeding grounds and clean up around and inside the Urban Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) 2 of Solenzo. This operation was part of their patriotic commitment to the health and well-being of the population. It consisted of cleaning the area around the primary healthcare center (CSPS), the interior of the courtyard, and eliminating areas that could promote the proliferation of malaria-carrying mosquitoes. Equipped with cleaning supplies, the conscripts collected waste, weeded, and sanitized the various areas of the health center.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the conscripts' spokesperson, lie Sabou, mentioned that this operation is a call to the public to take care of the environment. "If the primary healthcare center (CSPS) is full of weeds that harbor mosquitoes, if nothing is done, the sick won't get better, and the CSPS's neighbors will also get sick from the mosquitoes. That's why we decided to come and clean it up, because cleanliness is a remedy," he stated. According to him, the activity also reflects their desire to put into practice the values of civic responsibility, solidarity, and community service instilled in them during their mandatory patriotic immersion program.
