Banwa: The Burkina Information Agency (AIB) correspondent for the Banwa province, Salifou Ouédraogo, received a certificate of merit on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Solenzo prefecture. The certificate was awarded by the High Commissioner of the Banwa province, Sanfiénalé Joseph Sirima, to express the province’s gratitude for Ouédraogo’s professionalism and contribution to promoting Banwa.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Secretary General of the province, Abdoul Kader KongZabré, presented the certificate and congratulated the AIB Correspondent. He invited Ouédraogo to continue his work in collecting and processing information. KongZabré highlighted Ouédraogo’s support in covering events and his experience in information processing, noting that his dedication and availability have made him a key figure in communications within the province. Through Ouédraogo’s efforts, the province’s activities have gained recognition both nationally and internationally.
Ouédraogo expressed that the recognition
serves as motivation to maintain his professional standards. “I am very moved to receive this certificate of merit which I dedicate to the entire AIB house, to my superiors and to all the provincial and communal correspondents,” he stated after receiving the certificate.
