Banwa: The Secretary General of the Banwa Province, Abdoul Kader KongZabr©, urged the agricultural Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in Solenzo to rise to the challenge of food security this Thursday, following their recent training.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the VDPs have completed a comprehensive three-month training program in both theoretical and practical agricultural techniques. The training culminated in a popular cross-country race, after which the volunteers returned to the prefecture square to pay their respects to the administrative authorities.
The event was attended by several key figures including Abdoul Kader KongZabr©, the President of the Special Delegation of Solenzo Marou Ilboudo, the Provincial Director of Agriculture Madou Coulibaly, the Development Focal Point Hervis Coulibaly, and the Provincial Coordinator of Citizen Watch Rodrigue Coulibaly. They collectively applauded the volunteers for their dedication and encouraged them to apply their newfound skills.
‘Put into practice what you have learned so that all Burkinabe eat their fill. Be worthy daughters and sons who will contribute to economic development in the Banwa province in general and in the commune of Solenzo in particular,’ Abdoul Kader KongZabr© emphasized, highlighting the critical role the VDPs are expected to play in boosting food security in the region.
