Bingo Ceremony Highlights Patriotism and Local Consumption

Bingo: The President of the special delegation, Yacouba Gouem, presided over the monthly flag-raising ceremony in Koulgorin, which was dedicated to promoting patriotism and local consumption. This civic event took place at the public primary school and aimed to celebrate national unity and encourage the support of "Buy Burkinab¨" products.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by a range of dignitaries, including Lamourdia Eric Ouoba, the Head of the Basic Education District, and His Majesty Naaba Abga, the canton chief. The gathering saw participation from department heads, teachers, students, and local residents, all demonstrating their commitment to republican values through their presence.

Yacouba Gouem, representing the Democratic Party of Bingo, expressed satisfaction with the turnout, viewing it as a testament to the citizens' civic engagement. He commended participants for wearing traditional attire, aligning with Burkina Faso's authorities' call to promote local heritage. Gouem highlighted that wearing local fabrics is both a political and economic act, crucial for the order and discipline necessary for a prosperous Burkina Faso.
