Bingo:The Bingo Basic Education District (CEB) celebrated its Dasan-daaga Day on October 14 and 15, 2026, by organizing a large-scale cleanup operation in response to a nationwide call for action.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was part of the second phase of the third edition of the Days of Patriotic Engagement and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). It was spearheaded by the Provincial Director of Education of Boulkiemdé.
Under the leadership of Inspector Lamourdia Eric Ouoba, the CEB in Bingo engaged all schools in the commune. The aim was to educate young people about the richness of local culinary heritage and the significance of community participation.
Central to the celebration was a culinary immersion experience for students, featuring local dishes from each village. These dishes highlighted authentic flavors, traditional cooking methods, and the cultural and nutritional values of local foods.
The event concluded with a collective cleanup activity, instilling a sense of pride and responsibility among participants. Students, guided by their teachers, cleaned their school grounds, thereby enhancing their learning environments.
