Blacky Lamelo Launches “Burkina All Star” Album to Promote National Talent


Ouagadougou: Burkinabe artist Blacky Lamelo officially presented his new album, “Burkina All Star,” on Friday in Ouagadougou. The album comprises twelve tracks created in collaboration with several artists from Burkina Faso. Through this project, the singer aims to contribute to the promotion of national talent and the international reach of Burkinabe music. The album, which marks a significant milestone in the artist’s career, features exclusively Burkinabe musicians from different generations.



According to Burkina Information Agency, ‘Burkina All Star’ is the result of a year of work and collaboration with several players in the Burkinabe music scene.



‘The release of this album is the culmination of a year’s work. This collaboration with other artists aims to create a bridge between the old and new generations. It is a great source of pride for me, as this project marks an important step in my artistic journey,’ said Blacky Lamelo.



Through his songs, the artist addresses various themes such as success, hope, love, and attachment to his homeland. He aims to convey inspiring messages to young people while highlighting the social and cultural realities of Burkina Faso.



Present on several tracks of the album, the artist Kouni praised the quality of the project as well as the spirit of solidarity that animated the various collaborations.
