Ouagadougou: The director of the Bogodogo University Hospital has called for cleanliness to become a daily habit among staff and partners of the establishment. Seydou Nombr©, the Director General of the Bogodogo University Hospital Center (CHU-B), made this appeal on Thursday during a sanitation day held as part of the 3rd edition of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Nombr© emphasized the significance of this day for the Bogodogo University Hospital, highlighting the institution's responsibility to provide a healthy, clean, and safe environment for patients. He stated that hygiene is crucial in preventing infections and enhancing the quality of care provided.

Nombr© expressed gratitude for the active participation of staff and social partners, noting that their involvement reflects a commitment to civic duty, discipline, and responsibility. He urged staff to maintain these practices consistently, stressing the importance of keeping workspaces clean, adhering to hygiene protocols, and promoting awareness among colleagues and patients.

He also acknowledged the efforts of national authorities in promoting patriotism and civic participation, viewing these days as a chance to bolster social cohesion and a sense of duty. Nombr© called for the Bogodogo University Hospital to set an example in cleanliness, discipline, and civic responsibility.

Health worker Segda Elizabeth highlighted the day's importance, describing it as a response to the President's call for patriotic engagement and civic participation. She praised the initiative for improving the work environment and enhancing the safety of hospital staff and users.

Citizen watchdog Kologo Rasman© also expressed his satisfaction with the day's activities, encouraging continued public support and the repetition of similar initiatives in the future. He commended the organizers for their efforts in promoting these patriotic activities.
